DPA 4099v microphone

The DPA 4099v is a super-cardioid instrument microphone.

It has a specially designed mount for violins, violas and can be mounted on mandolins as well.

There are different versions with mounts for a variety of instruments.

The clip is very light and once the microphone is fitted in the clip it can be put on and taken of the instrument with only two fingers.

I recorded the 4099v going trough my AER alpha plus amp, using on the amp's eq and with no added reverb:
